1. Download the Claude Desktop app
This is the app that runs Claude Cowork on your computer. It works inside your files and folders and hands back finished work, not just chat replies.

You'll need a Claude account and Claude Pro to run Cowork. It isn't included on the free plan. Upgrading takes two minutes inside your account settings.

4. Run the skill Clara, your AI OS Wizard
In Claude Desktop, click Cowork, not Chat, then start a new task. Type this exactly, nothing else:
Typing the slash brings up your installed Skills. Once the text turns blue like above, Clara is recognized and active. Press Enter and let her lead the interview.
5. Connect your essential apps
Link Cowork directly to the tools you already work in: email, calendar, and CRM is the usual starting three. In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, and turn on the ones you use.
6. Delegate your first task
Give your agent something real:
- Follow up on a cold lead. Draft a follow-up email from your inbox.
- Write a new listing. Hand it photos and details for the MLS description.
- Plan tomorrow. Check calendar and email, send a priority list.
